I made a username when I first joined, but it's not really me anymore. How do I change it?
Hello! We've put together a brief introduction to the community here at Equinix. This video examines some of the features of this community, including how best to use the Discussions and Ideas boards. We'll take a look at some of the other features in a future video. If there's anything you'd like us to cover in a video, leave a comment below!
As of now, Groups are managed by the Equinix Community team. In order to request a new Group, please navigate to Ideas and post a new idea there. All new Group ideas will be reviewed by a Community Team member and you will hear back soon.
Groups are divided into three categories -- public, private, and hidden. Public Groups can be joined and read by any user regardless of role, rank, or sign-in status. Private Groups can only be read by members of the Group. To join a private Group, click on the Group and select the button to request membership. Membership is controlled by the Group's moderator. Hidden Groups can only be read and accessed by members of the Group, who are manually managed by the Group's administrator. In all cases, posting content to a Group is contingent upon being a member of that Group.
Groups are a new tool here on the Equinix Community. Groups contain targeted discussions about a particular topic or subject. In order to join a Group, you must first determine if the group is public, private, or hidden. To join a public Group, such as the Accessibility Improvements Group, click on the group and click the "Join Group" button. To join a private Group, click on the Group with the "closed" designation, and click the "Send Request to Join" button. If you are aware of a hidden Group, you must contact the Group's owner or a Community administrator to be added manually. In any of the Group types, you must be a member in order to post to that Group.

What's the best way to reach out to Customer Support?
Hi Community Members! Just wanted to keep you in the loop on recent community updates and improvements we've made. If you have any feedback on how we can improve the community experience, please share in our Beta Feedback here. Notifications Frequency We are a growing community and we want to ensure we aren't being excessive in our communications to you. This week we adjusted the default settings for email notification frequency. In this update, we changed badge and kudos notifications to a weekly digest. Content you subscribe to or engage with is a daily digest. All users can update the notifications to their own preferences by going into My Settings in your profile. Recent Discussions Tab We updated the recent tab in the Discussions and Welcome section to feature both recent posts and recent comments. Previously it would only showcase recent posts. We want to ensure you have visibility into the most recent conversations.
