Hi,i have used the API to create a work visit order and the http response is success. 201 with order number in header. However, we are receiving calls from the service desk that the ticket information is not accurate. Like the IBX , cage & cabinet information is missing in the order.I am not sure why this is happening.Anyone faced this ?
It has been some time since I built an ExpressRoute within the Equinix Fabric. Our topology is using Fabric Ports (not Virtual Devices). We have a primary and secondary port. We have built the ExpressRoute in Azure as well as the ExpressRoute VC in Equinix but are having trouble getting end-to-end connectivity. In the overview page of the ExpressRoute connection in the Equinix Fabric, there is an Origin VLAN and Destination VLAN. The Origin VLAN tags are different (Primary is 4025 and Secondary is 4026) but the Destination VLAN tag is the same (37 in this case). Where do we configure those? In the ExpressRoute Private Peering in Azure, we can only enter a single VLAN tag. Do we configure 4025/4026 on our routers and 37 in Azure, visa versa, or do we configure the same on both? The KB articles and videos do not cover this.
Do you have ConnectDirect (Coax) connections? Make sure you have a plan to migrate away if you haven't already.
Apologies if this is a n00b question but I haven't been able to find an answer in the docs so far.Just starting out on the API journey, so for now at least we only need read-only access for our tooling. What is the recommended way to create a read-only user? So far I can only see how to create accounts for humans.Cheers!

Equinix Terraform Provider v1.16.0 not only has the ability to create Fabric Cloud Router resources directly, but also layer 2 connections to AWS, GCP, and specific fabric ports in Equinix. Connections to Azure and Oracle via Terraform are coming soon! FCR is a great option for those who want to quickly route between clouds using BGP or static networks without worrying about specific OS, vendor requirements, or advanced configuration. For those who use Network Edge, this Terraform release allows you to disable the default internet connectivity before provisioning specific firewalls (Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Cisco FTDv, and Aviatrix FireNet) just like you can in the console.
As of version 3.6.2, Cloud Provider Equinix Metal is officially part of the Kubernetes Cloud Provider Special Interest Group! We are happy to offer up the work we continue to do on CPEM to a larger community and allow broader engagement. You can find (and contribute to) the repo under kubernetes-sigs/cloud-provider-equinix-metal or find Equinix listed in the SIG Cloud Provider community readme. Recent updates include fixed elastic IP annotations for those still using facilities (which are being deprecated) as well as a fix to CPEM's use of MetalLB v0.12.1.
Can I deploy my own CCTV security equipment or biometric reader inside an Equinix IBX?

How do I consider connecting my Virtual and Physical Environments using Equinix Network Edge?
Are there guidelines, best practices, or documentation provided to help customers understand their security responsibilities?
Does Network Edge have technical how-to videos I can watch, like “how do connect a device”, “how to create a Layer 3 connection”, “how to create a device link”?
Hello Equinix,I have a question regarding the creation of a new, redundant connection to Azure with API v4. From "Guide to v3-to-v4 APIs Migration" I see that I should use the connections/bulk endpoint. In the Knowledge Center for "Connect to Microsoft Azure" the simple connection endpoint is shown. Are both valid? Specifically, can I use 2 calls to the connection endpoint to built a redundant connection to Azure? In the API Reference I didn't find any reference for creating connections using the bulk endpoint. That's what got me confused (among other things). Thanks for your help
I would like to use the 【Create Connection】 API of EquinixFabric. We have confirmed the following two API details, but the contents are different. Does both parameters work? Or are there any conditions for proper use?The following are examples of the different parameters.① API catalog(https://developer.equinix.com/catalog/fabricv4) Connections >> [POST] Create Connection type:"VG_VC" "EVPL_VC" "EPL_VC" "EC_VC" "IP_VC" "ACCESS_EPL_VC" "EIA_VC" "EVPLAN_VC" "EPLAN_VC" ② API Reference(https://developer.equinix.com/docs?page=/dev-docs/fabric/overview) API Reference >> Fabric v4 APIs - Recommended >> Create Connection >> Body parameters type:EVPL_VC、ACCESS_EPL_VC、IP_VC、EVPLAN_VC
Is anyone out there using the ECP APIs?I am specifically interested in whether anyone has built spokes to workflows in applications such as Salesforce or Servicenow and any advice you can share on pitfalls to avoid.
Amplifying this post: https://developer.equinix.com/forum/issue-creating-work-visit-request We've sent the customer to api-experience@equinix.com as colo related APIs are involved. Hello, We are trying to automate creating work visit requests in Equinix portal using rest API's. Following the documentation , i was able to generate client creds etc and use to generate bearer token. when i used the same to submit a work visit request, i get invalid token used error. Anyone faced this ??? Any recommendations ?? Thanks in Advance
Which cloud service providers can I connect to with Fabric Cloud Router?
Can you please explain the benefits of FCR?
Are these different from standard Fabric use cases or more specific to networking?
