Getting started in the Community

Welcome to Community! We're excited to have you as one of the early adopters to make Community a place for you - our customers. I saw that in my profile there's a private message section, what is it and how do I read/send them? 

I've seen the like button in the community. What's a like? How do I give one?

How do I register or become a Equinix Community Member? Equinix Community uses Single Sign On (SSO) for our Community. To login or register in Equinix Community, you use your Equinix Customer Portal username and password. If you already have Equinix Customer Portal credentials, follow these steps:Go to community.equinix.com  Click on the Login link located in the top right corner of the page In the new page, enter your Equinix Customer Portal credentials username (or email) and password Click the "Sign in" button On your first login, you'll be directed to select a username and agree to the Community Terms of Service.  

Changing your avatar is an easy way to personalize your community identity. You can change your avatar as often as you like. Your current avatar appears at the top of the Avatar page. Find out below how to update your avatar/profile image.
