In this video, Chris Privitere from Equinix interviews Jimmy Zelinsky, CPO at AuthZed. AuthZed is the company behind SpiceDB, an open-source graph database optimized for authorization. Jimmy explains that authentication and authorization are the two main steps in accessing an application. Authentication verifies the identity of the user, while authorization checks if the user has the necessary access to perform certain actions. SpiceDB uses relationships between objects to model authorization, allowing users to define access based on relationships. Jimmy mentions that Google implemented similar concepts for Google Plus using a system called Zanzibar. Recently I have been having issues with the Shipments v1 endpoint for pending storage (https://api.equinix.com/v1/orders/shipment/pendingStorage), receiving 503 service unavailable.Searching the catalog, there is no 503 defined so not entirely sure what this error is stating.Looking to see if this is a bug or if the endpoint was deprecated without notice.Thank you

With the v0.4 additions of VRF and Gateway features, and Interconnection present in v0.3, this release of the Equinix Ansible Collection enables Fabric VC (metal-billed) use-cases with BGP discovery of private IP pools over Metal VLANs.  This allows users to manage their Metal network configurations via the Ansible integration with greater ease. In future releases, we'll expand the Ansible Collection to support dedicated interconnections.   If you're interested in using Ansible to manage your infrastructure deployments, let us know!

I note that NixOS was recently retired from the list of supported operating systems. What was the reason for dropping NixOS? I'm curious as to whether there are technical limitations that make the OS harder to support on the Metal platform.

Currently I'm using the API token associated with my personal login to Equinix for the Fabric API. What's the best way to make an API token for a service sharable by a group of people at my company? Should I just make an Equinix login like first name Cloud last name Fabric, and then make an API token from that, or is there another way?

The Equinix Pulumi and Crossplane providers have been updated to take advantage of the latest Fabric Cloud Router features from the Terraform provider.   This includes recent updates that allow any Fabric resources to instantly approve AWS connections when given AWS credentials.   Secondly a new connection type, FCR to IPWAN, is now available!   Any Fabric Cloud Routers connected to an IPWAN will automatically peer with other remote FCRs connected to the same IPWAN. Also, Fabric automatically provisions redundant network connectivity to the IPWAN service, meaning customers only provision a single connection but receive additional protection. This drastically reduces customer configuration requirements, allowing users to rapidly produce a regional or global network.   The routes automatically learnt from remote FCRs in the IPWAN network are displayed in each of their active routing tables so users

Hi,i have used the API to create a work visit order and the http response is success. 201 with order number in header.However, we are receiving calls from the service desk that the ticket information is not accurate. Like the IBX , cage & cabinet information is missing in the order.I am not sure why this is happening.Anyone faced this ?

Apologies if this is a n00b question but I haven't been able to find an answer in the docs so far.Just starting out on the API journey, so for now at least we only need read-only access for our tooling.What is the recommended way to create a read-only user? So far I can only see how to create accounts for humans.Cheers!
