What is SHRED?
SHRED is a Smart Hands service designed to standardize and simplify electronic waste disposal across Equinix IBXs. Using a self-service request form in the Equinix Customer Portal (ECP), customers can quickly submit a Smart Hands ticket to recycle eligible items, including:
- Storage media
- Hard drives and disks
- Other approved electronic equipment
