I need to install a GPS antenna for timing services at an IBX. What is the process?

You'll want to look into reserving some Rooftop Space at one of our IBXs.

Rooftop Space reserves a portion of the data center roof where you can install (or Equinix can install on your behalf) a platform to support your antenna needs for timing services (GPS) or direct communication (microwave).

Note:

  • The platform is not included with Rooftop Space.

  • Interconnection between your Rooftop Space and your Data Hall is through a customer-installed custom cable connection.
