Are there reasons to have both physical and virtual deployments?
Yes, customer often times will have physical presence in core locations where they have a significant customer base while having a virtual presence in emerging markets.
Another scenario might be a customer that has their website hosted in AWS but has their customer database in Oracle Cloud. Setting up a virtual router at Equinix provides the fastest route between the clouds.
