Monthly billing transition
As part of the BT data centres acquisition in Ireland, we are aligning billing practices with global Equinix standards.
Starting 1 April 2026, all customers will move to a monthly billing cycle.
Invoices issued in April will be prorated to cover charges through the end of April only. If your current invoice covers multiple months (for example, April-June), it will include April charges only. From May onward, you will receive monthly invoices.
Internet Connectivity services ending
As previously communicated, Internet Connectivity services will end in April. These services will only be billed through the end of April.

The information below explains how your billing will change, based on your current billing cycle in Ireland.
If you are currently billed monthly:
- June 2026: You will receive one invoice covering services for May and June 2026 (a combined two-month bill).
- Starting 1 July 2026: You will receive an invoice on the first day of each month, covering that month’s services.
For example, we will issue an invoice on 1 July for all July services, on 1 August for all August services, and so on.
If you are currently billed quarterly:
- June 2026: You will receive one invoice covering services for May and June 2026 (a combined two-month bill).
- Starting 1 July 2026: Your account will switch to monthly invoicing, issued on the first day of each month.
- Overlap adjustment: If your final BT quarterly invoice included charges for May or June 2026, we will adjust your account so you are not charged twice.
For example, if your last BT invoice was issued in April 2026 covering April–June 2026, then your new Equinix monthly billing will begin in July 2026 without duplicating any charges.
If you are currently billed annually:
- June 2026: You will receive one invoice covering services for May and June 2026.
- Starting 1 July 2026: Your account will move to monthly invoicing, issued on the first day of each month, unless your current annual invoice already covers a later period.
- Overlap adjustment: If your most recent BT annual invoice covers any period beyond 1 July 2026, we will ensure you are not double-billed for that period.
For example, if you received a BT annual invoice in April 2026 covering services through March 2027, then your first Equinix monthly invoice will be issued in April 2027, after your current prepaid period ends.
