Yes, you can use you virtual port on Equinix Fabric to connect to the public internet. You can configure it through the Fabric Portal or using the Fabric API

Equinix Internet Access service with Fabric currently supports the following configuration:

  • Single port or single connection
  • Fixed billing account
  • Flexible minimum bandwidth commitment
  • Static, direct, and BGP routing protocol
