ECP APIs request packets have attributes with names – IBX, Cage. What does these attributes mean?

  • IBX means Equinix Datacenter
  • Cage means a custom build (as per customer’s requirement) and secured mesh enclosure to house multiple cabinets in it.
  • Cabinet means a physical enclosure to hold IT equipment. Sometimes it also referred to as ‘Rack’
