Groups are divided into three categories -- public, private, and hidden. Public Groups can be joined and read by any user regardless of role, rank, or sign-in status. Private Groups can only be read by members of the Group. To join a private Group, click on the Group and select the button to request membership. Membership is controlled by the Group's moderator. Hidden Groups can only be read and accessed by members of the Group, who are manually managed by the Group's administrator. In all cases, posting content to a Group is contingent upon being a member of that Group.93Views1like0CommentsWhat is a Group and how do I join?
Groups are a new tool here on the Equinix Community. Groups contain targeted discussions about a particular topic or subject. In order to join a Group, you must first determine if the group is public, private, or hidden. To join a public Group, such as the Accessibility Improvements Group, click on the group and click the "Join Group" button. To join a private Group, click on the Group with the "closed" designation, and click the "Send Request to Join" button. If you are aware of a hidden Group, you must contact the Group's owner or a Community administrator to be added manually. In any of the Group types, you must be a member in order to post to that Group.110Views0likes0CommentsCommunity Update: Scheduled Maintenance July 31, 2024
