If I order an ECX port how will it be delivered/presented in my cage/cabinet? Will Equinix need to install a patch panel in my cabinet? If yes how much space will this take up?

We will ask you the IBX, space, rack, patch panel where you want the port to be delivered. If there is no free patch panel, we will install a new one.

Hi KS,
There is no distinction between a "Customer PP" or an "Equinix delivered PP".
All PPs are delivered by Equinix, into a rack where a Customer is deployed.
If there are free ports on an existing PP, then it is possible to use it to deliver a Fabric port.
If there are no free ports, then a new PP should be installed (by Equinix, at customer's request) before the Fabric port order can be placed.
