Why does Equinix Connect use burst billing? Are traffic caps available?
Burst billing allows you to exceed your committed base rate without capping traffic.
In AMER and APAC, you have the option to cap traffic to avoid or limit burst charges. You can set the cap to any value between your minimum bandwidth commit and your port speed.
