Not quite yet at the tinkering stage, but I am planning out home automation while my new house gets built. That, and researching networking gear, and prototyping enclosures for ceiling speakers - Dolby Atmos, let's go!
ZM that's awesome! I had a bunch of co-workers from a previous company get really into home automation - check out https://github.com/home-assistant for open source projects around. Hoping to one day do the same. Will you have any solar panels or batteries added to the home?
