Can Equinix APIs be called from a web browser, i am getting a CORS error?

I am trying to call your APIs from a browser but i am getting a CORS error. Thanks!!

Currently, due to security concerns, we do not allow our APIs to be directly accessed via browsers. Therefore, we recommend using your services to access our APIs and then use your browser app to interact with your services.
