The European Peering Forum is hosted by AMS-IX, DE-CIX, LINX and NETNOD and brings together peering managers and engineers from all over the world.
Over the weekend I submitted my CFP to speak at EPF16, and it was this post that I first learned about it. My presentation submission focused on BGP (for simplicity, DNS tells the data where to go, and BGP tells the data how to get there, which is usually via the shortest route). Once I find out the results then I'll share it here!
Has anyone here ever attended an EPF in the past?
The thing I enjoy about writing CFPs, articles, and videos is that it always forces me to understand the topic perfectly. It results in me deep-diving the research, talking with engineers, and finding out a few new discoveries along the way.
That's what is so great about EPF and expos just like it - whether as a speaker or as an attendee, these experiences force us to teach, to learn, and to become our best self.
