On-site Service Changes Smart Hands®
Smart Hands®
Remote Hands/Remote Eyes will be replaced by Equinix Smart Hands. Smart Hands can be requested in ECP and may vary by IBX. These services are chargeable based on the number of hours to complete the task.

Service Delivery Reports
Self-service reports are available in ECP; for more information, review the Service Delivery Reports documentation. If you require additional reports not available in ECP, additional charges may apply for each manual service delivery report request.
Smart Hands Support Plans
If you need recurring Smart Hands activities (reports, tape changes, etc.), Equinix offers a Smart Hands Support Plan Package, which provides a specified number of hours per month at a discounted rate. For more information, review the Support Plan Packages documentation.
Amenities: Sleeping quarters, manager rooms, meeting rooms
Equinix standard site features include breakout rooms with a pantry and space where your staff can work/relax while on site. The size and availability of these amenities can vary by IBX and are on a first-come, first-served basis for a limited amount of time. These amenities will replace the sleeping quarters, manager rooms and meeting rooms. Some conference rooms can be booked through the portal.
Metro connectivity
Equinix will provide campus connectivity between MN1 and MN2. For connectivity between the MN1, MN2 and MN3 sites, customers are advised to procure connectivity with one of the carriers present in both MN3 and the sites in the Carmona campus.
Accessories
After integration and once supplier pricing is secured, Equinix will offer accessories for standard cabinets, power strips and other common materials. You can purchase these for installation into your cages or Equinix-provided cabinets.
