Hi, We're looking at using Equinix Internet Access and would like to enable BFD for faster failure detection but it isn't currently supported. Can we request this feature be added please.

- What is your expected failover time in case of a network failure?
- Have you already adjusted BGP hold timers to achieve faster failure detection?
- Are you currently using BFD with BGP in your environment?
- If so, what has been your experience with stability and reconvergence?
- Have you encountered issues with BFD being too sensitive?
- Would a slightly slower but more stable failover mechanism be acceptable?
- Are you aware of any alternative mechanisms you're currently using or considering for failure detection?
- How many BFD sessions do you anticipate needing per device or per site?
