Equinix Precision Time 2022.5 is available October 10, 2022. This release of Equinix Precision Time provides enhanced authentication support. Multiple MD5 Keys Available in NTP Enterprise In Network Time Protocol (NTP) Enterprise configurations, authentication for multiple MD5 keys is now supported. With this release of Equinix Precision Time, up to 25 MD5 authorization keys and passwords can be added to an NTP Enterprise service. Equinix Identity and Access Management Identity and Access Management (IAM) has been implemented for Fabric, Network Edge, and Equinix Precision Time (EPT) users in your account. IAM will enable you to create role-based permission structures and build a resource hierarchy that matches your organizational hierarchy. This provides flexible self service account administration and significantly enhances your security posture. Identity and Access Management Learn about IAM Access IAM from the left side menu drop-down in Equinix Customer Portal (ECP), Fabric Portal, or EPT Portal to view your assigned projects and assets Users will be assigned Roles and Permissions based on their existing permissions and your assets will be assigned to a default project Use the Context Switcher drop-down at the top of the Fabric and EPT portals to set or change the project Administrator Responsibilities As a Master Admin in ECP, you will be assigned IAM, Primary, Org, Project, and Finance Admin roles Learn about the five new Admin Roles and set up additional users to help administer IAM Review the default Roles and Permissions mapping and adjust for your users as needed Create organizations and projects, and manage billing account assignments to build a resource hierarchy that aligns with your organization Resources IAM Documentation Fabric IAM Documentation Network Edge IAM Documentation IAM is currently in limited availability for Fabric, Network Edge, and Equinix Precision Time only; additional products and feature enhancements will be available in the coming months. Equinix Precision Time 2022.6 With this release, Equinix Precision Time adds support for resellers and their sub-users in the Precision Time portal flow within the Equinix Customer Portal (ECP). Reseller Support Equinix resellers can now sign into the Precision Time portal in ECP to place orders and provision new Precision Time services for their sub-account end users. In addition, resellers can now use the portal make changes to the time services used by their sub-accounts. With this new support available in the Precision Time workflow, resellers can efficiently manage the time service needs of their customers.
