Are Precision Time systems exposed to public networks?
The Precision Time infrastructure is maintained in highly secured IBX data centers inside secure cages. There is no exposure to the outside world or accessibility to Public Networks. Also, Precision Time services are offered to customers over the highly secure, dedicated, private Equinix Fabric network which also has no exposure to public networks or internets. In addition, Precision Time services are offered over private IP address spaces defined by RFC 1918.
